EFFECTIVE WORK INTERACTIONS
- Building Effective Work Relationships: This resource focuses on how to initiate and maintain positive connections with people. The content provides ideas and tools to help participants (1) understand the give-and-take element of human interactions, and (2) understand the principle of mutual interests and needs and how to meet them effectively. Basic guidelines are given for establishing effective relationships with people at all levels and across all generations.
- Creative Thinking: Creative thinking is a way of using the mind to generate and or improve ideas. It is a practical workplace tool that is much in demand today. This workshop offers tools, tips, and techniques on how to apply creative thinking to a broad range of purposes from simple problem-solving to achieving major change.
- Meetings: Meetings are central to the business of any organization. It is a setting in which people convene to plan, make decisions, and solve problems. This workshop helps participants understand the importance of their role in meetings and provides ideas and insights on what to do before, during, and after meetings to be an effective meeting participant or meeting leader.
- Teams: Being a team member means getting work done with others. This workshop helps participants (1) understand the key roles and behaviors such as personal responsibility and accountability for team members, (2) recognize the importance of individual contribution in any team setting, and (3) use critical communication and collaboration skills to be an effective team member.
